The answer – or more precisely the question – is “Who is Tiny Tim?”
And with that, I now go on historical record as a Jeopardy! clue. Having previously been a Jeopardy! contestant (which, I will add, was far more stressful than being a clue).
If that’s not a classic American trajectory, I don’t know what is. Yes, it’s a heady moment. As a friend told me: “You ARE trivia.”
This concerns me a little because you add just one letter to that last word and it becomes “trivial.” As in ephemeral. As in yawn who cares bring on Speidi. But for now, I’ll take it. Although, to be honest, my true goal is to be a New York Times crossword puzzle clue. By 2050 or so. No sense rushing the Zeitgeist.
